Description: Found in a old Pennsylvania estate many years ago is this wonderful oil on stretched canvas by W.E. BURG. Has a nice primitive look to it. Painting measures 14 1/4” X 20" sight 18 1/4” X 24” with antique gold frame. Painting and frame are in good shape Painting has a little craquelure from age and a small area of paint loss in the sky area and may have been touched up in a few spots also in the sky area. Signed “W E Burg” lower right. I would estimate this to be from the 1930 or earlier. A great paining by a talented artist.
