This Waves Max BCL was as an absolute surprise and we love it, this is our 2nd unit kept for Backup, we are keeping one because it's such a rare find!!! The Waves Max BCL is built absolutely like a tank with XLR input/output, AES in/out, Spdif RCA in/out, Word clock BNC input ,1/4"TRS in/out, Optical in/out are all on the rear of the BCL. I can't say enough cool things about this Compressor limiter, it gives you full processing power without having your computer, yes it does sound really Dope. There's nothing bad to say about the L2 limiter, it can really control and keep your stereo mix Peaks on while lifting it up at the same time, like normalizing with no digital overs or artifacts when set correctly. The BCL has several sample rates 96khz,88.1khz,48khz,44.1khz, 16bit or 24bit and word clock sync which are all options on the front panel you can select when setting up your stereo mix or mastering suite. Using the Waves Max BCL is truly Beautiful and its sonic character makes you forget its plugins inside a hard shell box with digital led meters for input and output reading. Waves MAX BCL is seriously a professionally built 2 rack space unit that has Colorful illumination on every button with a small digital readout at each Plugin Section, and yes they all work wonderfully.
