Description: Wave Crest CF Monroe Hand Painted Opal Ware Handled Dresser Basket C. 1882-1916 Nice turn of the century Opal Ware glass dresser basket with hand painted blue daisy flowers. Brass collar and floral scrollwork handle. Marked on the bottom Trade Mark Wave Crest. Circa 1882 to 1916. Has some wear and tarnish to the collar and handle. There is also a small break where the top piece of scrollwork is no longer attached to the handle on one side. Otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall to the top of the collar. Measures approximately 5 7/8 inches tall with the handle fully extended. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. DUBX
