Here we have a beautiful and elegant fine solid cut crystal WINE DECANTER with STOPPER by WATERFORD of Ireland in the "Avoca" pattern displaying a mid surround of criss cross (diamond) cuts amongst three sections of sweeping curved and intersecting lines, with fan cuts or vertical petal cuts above and six inverted fan cuts below, blended base with a star burst cut on the bottom ~ panel cuts on the inverted conical stopper. "Waterford" is faintly marked on the bottom (arrow mark on tape to help find.) It measures approx. 13" high (with stopper) x 4-1/4" mid diameter x 3-5/8" in base diameter. It is in great maintained (lightly used) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted...appearing to have had very minimal use if any at all. (Not thoroughly cleaned since acquired.)Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, production run in 1974-2017. This item weighs approx. 3-1/2 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased. Payment and shipping...
