Description: WATERFORD ~ (2) Elegant Solid Cut Crystal 8" Square PLATES w/Box (Lismore) ~ Ireland Description of item... Here we have a beautiful and elegant pair of solid cut crystal square PLATES (Salad/Dessert/Luncheon Plates) by WATERFORD of Ireland in the "Lismore" pattern displaying staggered (high, low) vertical petal cuts above a surround of criss-cross cuts on the inner circle, starburst cut design on the center. Both retain their original foil sticker which reads, "WATERFORD CRYSTAL ~ MADE IN IRELAND" and "WATERFORD ~ (Seahorse symbol)" is etched on the center circle edge. Original box also included (a few minor scuff/rub marks here and there most likely from age and handling/movement.) Each measures approx. 8" square x 3/4" side high. Both are in excellent maintained (unused) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted...unwrapped one to photograph.Came from a well cared for private home collection, stored in dining room cabinet for many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern started in 1957. This paired boxed item weighs approx. 3-1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the outer packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
