Description: Keyestudio TDS V1.0 Water Quality TDS Sensor Total Dissolved Solids, Analog Signal, Extended CablesIncluding detachable brackets for DIN rail mounting (can be configured for either direction on DIN rail). DIN rail not included Keyestudio TDS sensor is compatible with Arduino or Raspberry PI, plug and play, easy to use. The sensor is measuring the electrical conductivity of the water, and computing TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) value in PPM (Parts per Million). Completely pure water is an almost perfect insulator, and the conductivity and TDS are near zero. Common drinking water has small amounts of salts and minerals which allow the water to conduct electricity. The conductivity is very closely linear with the concentration of salts, so this measurement is commonly used to quickly evaluate the purity of water, and especially the effectiveness of RO water treatment. < 1 PPM TDS: Ultrapure Water, Distilled Water, Deionized Water< 10 PPM TDS: Purified Water< 20 PPM TDS: Typical from Household Undersink RO System< 100 PPM TDS: Mineral Water or very good Tap Water, typical of Georgia< 400 PPM TDS: Poor Tap Water, typical from areas with hard water like Texas, California> 500 PPM TDS: Deep Well Water Input Voltage: DC 3.3 ~ 5.5VOutput Voltage: 0 ~ 2.3V (for example, 500 ppm water will create 1.15 V signal)Working Current: 3 ~ 6mATDS Measurement Range: 0 ~ 1000ppmTDS Measurement Accuracy: ± 10% F.S.
