Description: Washington Redskins Lot Of (1445) Different Cards in (2) Brand New BCW Binders With (207) Brand New Ultra Pro Platinum Pages. This is an amazing lot with No Duplicates spanning 66 years from 1955-2021. There are many complete or at least near complete Team Sets for many of those years. There are (3) Autographed cards including Art Monk & Joe Theismann. There are also also a few game worn Patch swatch cards including Robert Griffin Rookie. There are also Parallels including (6) 1991 Wild Card 1000 Stripe. There are tons of Rookies including Art Monk, Joe Jacoby, Darrel Green, Gary Clark, Michael Westbrook, Clinton Portis, Champ Bailey, Robert Griffin, & Many more. Because of the nature of this huge collection I will try to describe it as best as possible. I did photograph every card in pages on a table and took additional close up photos of some of the early vintage and later key cards. These cards are all organized in chronological order by date from 1955-2021 and they are also organized in alphabetical order by brand for each year and each separate brand is organized in numerical order. The first binder is 1955-1992 with 115 pages and 799 cards. The second binder is 1993-2021 with 92 pages and 646 cards. Please note that not every page is full. In fact between the two binders there are 418 pockets that do not have cards. The total number of cards and filled pockets is 1445. The reason there are gaps in the pages is to separate years and brands and to make it easier to add cards as I was collecting. I have spent many hours building and organizing this collection for years. Just last year I put this collection into the brand new sleeves and binders they are in now. I have also always meticulously selected the best condition cards whenever I had duplicates to choose from. I always kept any Redskins cards I acquired regardless of condition and in some cases the only cards I added are not mint. For the most part this is a nice clean, sharp, and well centered collection that is mostly near mint or better from 1973 to 2021 but there are definitely some mid grade and even a few lower grade in the recents. I would say up to 20% of the newer cards are less than mint and maybe 1% low grade. The 1955-1972 are mostly mid grade with maybe 20% lower grade and 20% above middle grade. There are a more low grade creased cards in the early cards but most are at least mid grade. I cannot possibly list every card in this description but here is a general overview. Although I do have a decent amount of cards from the 1950’s there are some missing years and it is missing all cards from 1961-1967. There is a good amount of cards and near complete sets beginning in 1968 with a few earlier. The cards included with the vintage are as follows: 1955 Bowman has 4 Cards. The following Years are all Topps with amount of Cards for each year: 1957 x12, 1959 x10, 1960 x1, 1968 x4, 1969 x11, 1970 x7 + glossy, 1971 x10 +’74 Wonderbread, 1972 x5, 1973 x23, 1974 x19, 1975 x21, 1976 x20 +2 ‘76 Wonerbread, 1977 Topps x24, 1978 x23, 1979 x23, 1980 x17, 1981 x13, 1982 x17, 1983 x24, 1984 Topps x25, 1985 x18 +USFL, 1986 x15, 1987 x7, 1988 x16, 1988 x12, 1989 x19. There is also a complete 1988 Panini Sticker set of 12. Beginning in 1989 there begins to be lots of different brands. Most of the cards I have after 1989 are less complete but some are. I cannot tell you which sets are complete. Hopefully you can get a general idea from the photos. Also beginning in 1989 there are brands including many first edition premieres like 1989 Pro Set, 1989 Score, 1990 Action Packed, 1991 Pacific, 1991 Pinnacle, 1991 Pro Line, 1991 Pro Set Platinum, 1991 Stadium Club, 1991 Fleer Ultra, 1991 Wild Card, & More. I actually counted 84 different brands in this collection. Many are sub sets from a main brand such as Topps Stadium Club, Topps Finest, Topps Stars, Topps Chrome, Topps Total, Topps Heritage, Topps Valor, Etc. I won’t bore you with the rest. The later years do have many different Panini brands including some parallels and prizms but not a lot. All of these are Redskins cards with a few exceptions. There is one 1985 Topps USFL Gary Clark Bulls Rookie, & a Louisville Joe Jacoby retro. Also somehow I noticed a 1991 Collector’s Edge Steve Young that I didn’t catch until taking pictures so I don’t dare remove it now. I don’t think there are any cards in this collection worth more than $50/each. However there are probably a hundred worth $5-10/each. I will not let this collection go for nothing. I have many hours invested in this. All together this is an amazing collection spanning over 65 years of football history. I am hoping that this collection goes to a Washington fan that will keep this for their personal collection but once it is purchased it is your choice what to do with it. Please ask questions before purchasing as I will not accept returns on this one. Cards will be insured and shipped very carefully with priority mail. Please note: Some of my listings mention that I am lowering prices by five percent. Previously I did lower prices this way on everything from October to August 2023 and many items have already reached the minimum .99 cents. However my primary job has been so busy that I have decided to end it for now. I might bring regular price reductions back from time to time so please consider adding me as a saved seller and check back every so often. My prices are very competitive and I do send weekly offers. Thanks for looking!
