Description: Waltham Grade No. 18 Model 1883 18 Size Oresilver Pocket Watch ca. 1899. This antique Waltham grade No. 18, model 1883, 7 jewel, 18 size, open face pocket watch has a heavy oresilver (nickel alloy) case measuring approximately 56mm in diameter x 3 1/4 inches long including bow. The case has a polished finish with a light patina and wear, as pictured. The front and back remove and replace properly with good threading. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, a red Arabic numerals five minute track, black light spade/whip hands, a single sunk seconds register at six o'clock and is marked "Waltham". The dial is in excellent condition with no hairlines or chipping. The crystal is in good condition. The inside case is stamped "Fahys No. 1 Oresilver - Pat. Feb.19th 1884 - 6780873". The nickel movement is stamped "Waltham Watch Co. - 9022549". All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. Stem wind, lever set. This watch is running. No guarantee of future performance.
