Most of the voice talent returned for the television show, with the notable exception of Robin Williams who was replaced by Dan Castellaneta, who is of course most well known as the voice of Homer Simpson! This is a VERY RARE hand-painted original production background from the "I Never Mechanism I Didn't Like" episode of season one of the show. In 1993 Sotheby's held an auction of the movie backgrounds (since no cels were used for the movie) and some of those backgrounds went for $25,000 - to this day even the very simply ones go for thousands. This is a rare chance to own an Aladdin background that is very representative of the style for much less, because it is from the TV show! The background is done on thick board. On the back is quite a bit of handwriting for the studio of "Milana Borkert" who worked on the backgrounds for the TV show - she is listed as such in IMDB.
