Beginning In early 2004 through 2008, Wade introduced a series of 24 limited edition Nursery Rhyme character figurines that initially were contracted for production by the Wade International Collectors Club and initially were available exclusively for purchase by the club members. Each figurine had a custom display box with the name of the figurine appearing on a label affixed to the bottom of the box. “Made in England” and a red stamp with the Wade logo appears on the underside bottom of each figurine. The term “Blowup” has become attached to the figurines in this series.These figurines were from special designs of larger versions of the Canadian Nursery Rhyme series from the 1970's. New glazes and were originated to ensure this series had a unique look and a higher quality than the earlier releases. The upgraded “injection” molding also provided a seamless figurine which had a high degree of appeal to many collectors. These larger versions of Nursery Rhyme figurines have general dimensions of 2” to 3” in length or height, although there are variations. Seller provides combined shipping of multiple Wade purchases. If the “request total” is not available, send a message to seller with the names of your selections and a special listing with combined shipping will be set up for you to purchase normally. Either option provides same result. In worst case, purchase and pay all the additional shipping charges and the excess fees will be refunded when your order is processed. Seller provides a 10% discount of figurines total prices on orders of 6 or more individual Wade figurines. Seller maintains an extensive Wade inventory and not all items are listed at any one time.
