Description: WADE & BUTCHER "WR" 1830-1837 English straight razor with good wooden handles and good period box. Needs cleaning. Blade measures 0.75" X 5.75" and has no nicks, some staining, little pitting and minimum rust. The wood handle is solid and tight - dry and needs sealing - has one nick and one small hole of no structural and little aesthetic consequence. The rivets are tight. Please, see photos for better description and ask any questions you may have in advance. This is a very collectible almost 200 year-old razor with great full and easy restoration potential. I don't know if the accompanying storage box actually belongs with this razor, but the razor came in it and the case is in relatively good and usable condition - appearing to be from the right time period.
