Description: This is a rare October 21st, 1929 program (playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the Seventh Edition of the musical revue "EARL CARROLL VANITIES" at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The Seventh Edition opened August 6th, 1928 at New York's Earl Carroll Theatre and ran for 200 performances before going on the road.) ..... The show starred the legendary W. C. FIELDS and the cast included DOROTHY BRITTON ("Miss Universe"), BEN BLUE, the BENNETT BOYS, DOROTHY BARTON, VIVIAN WILSON, ELSIE CONNOR, RITA KERWIN, PAT HENRY, JOEY RAY, JEAN JOYSON, ELIZABETH SURAN, KITTY DONEGAN, MARILYN KINGSTON, MAE JOHNSON, EDITH MAE WRIGHT, MARGARET STEBBINS, VIOLA HUNTER, SONYA FAY, KEITHA RAYNE, NOVELLO and the "WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRLS" ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a light vertical crease, a bent corner to the front cover and minor edge wear, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
