Description: This is a very good bayonet. It has the factory blade, a good tip, and great markings. It has the CSZ I stamp. There is also an additional CM stamp on underside frame of the pommel. A stamp on the frog catch as well. Very clean overall. The light gray blade is very smooth with very little finish wear. The surface has light patina peppering. There are some minor edge nicks. The wood handle is secure with some minor surface wear and a little wood loss. No cracks that I can see. The push button works as expected. The guard & pommel look very good with some minor wear, mostly on the end of the pommel. There is some patina wear on the pommel frame. The scabbard is in very good condition. It has a brown patina finish with minor dings, marks and scratches. Some areas are darker. The frog catch has a stamp. This is a Romanian leather frog in excellent condition. It is very clean. The color is a darker brown. It has very little surface wear and excellent stitching. The leather has minor to normal surface wrinkling which may include some faint surface cracking. The leather is firm but pliable. Likely minor usage. The front is stamped C. V. B in the upper area which may be initials. The frog is 9 3/8 inches long. Fully functional.
