Otherwise, you will get the left hand side of the transmission with two bolt holes. Automatic starters are suggested for use with these cases as the bushing area may be enlarged. Bushing area is not guaranteed to work with starter that needs bushing. Adapters cut from a used case that may or may not be cleaned up. There may be corrosion. They may have been painted. They may have a little dirt on them. Most of the time there is a threaded stud for the starter sticking out but I do not guarantee it. These are for type1 style motors used in type1, type2, type3 but not type4. Your type2 might have a type4 motor. You could get a 6V or 12V adapter. If it is 6V and need 12V you can grind out a little from the inside to turn it into 12V. Message me and we can discuss if you have questions.
