The shelf includes two tiers backed by a mirror, blending functionality with timeless charm. On the back, several markings and tags add to its authenticity and historical appeal. One marking reads Butler Style #141 - 1982, while a large tag states: "This is Merchandise of Quality. The Construction of which is Approved and Guaranteed by The Redwood Furniture Co. 324 East Main Street, Waterbury, Conn., Phone 3-3107." Additionally, there is a tag noting the inspector's name and the inspection date: 12-21-42. The cabinet has been thoroughly cleaned and treated inside and out with Feed-N-Wax wood polish and conditioner. It is in good vintage condition, showing minor signs of age.
