Description: VINTAGE WIND-UP TOY LOT I will be listing several lots, made-up from all the leftover stragglers at the bottom of the toy box.Remarkably, all of these toys appear to have intact mechanisms: HOWEVER, ALL MOVE WITH HESITATION and need restoration. I turned each key only slightly to avoid damage and with a little bit of coaxing, the HULA DANCER danced slightly with a metallic, mechanical click. The LINEMAR ANDROCLES LION buzzingly "growled" while raising and lowering his head (to lick his paw) and wagging his tail. The one-eared dog hopped and chattered like the sound of novelty teeth. The pressed-steel LADY-BUG was resistant to winding-up, directly engaging the drive wheels when the key was turned and causing the small pivot wheel to... pivot. I tried to partially re-wind the bug a couple of times, and the mechanism did eventually show signs of energy storage within the spring... so even it offered a glimmer of hope, but I didn't try to force it any further. Condition issues abound: The celluloid hula girl has a slight deformity on the side of her face & forehead. One arm is missing entirely, and the other is loose and crushed. Oddly enough, her fragile paper skirt appears to be largely intact. The lion has thinning felt overall, and the fabric has torn in several spots (feet, base of the tail, etc). The ladybug is rusted on the underside and has a small dent on her back. And (again), the dog is missing an ear. While the Linemar Lion was easy enough to identify, I have no idea who made the other pieces. I think everything is covered in the photos, but if you have any questions or need a better view of something, please don't hesitate to ask. ALL ITEMS ARE USED, and evidence of dirt & wear are present, overall... so please see photos for details. I'll be listing several "junk drawers" in the coming days, and I'm sorting as I go... SO BE SURE TO SEE MY OTHER LOTS, and I'll combine shipping whenever I can. Feel free to contact me with any questions or special shipping needs: Otherwise, please allow up to THREE BUSINESS DAYS FOR HANDLING. $$$ COMBINE SHIPPING & SAVE $$$ THANKS FOR LOOKING * GOOD LUCK I DO NOT CLEAN VINTAGE ITEMS... (usually), and I RECYCLE SHIPPING MATERIAL (whenever possible). While I often make an effort to minimize loose dirt & debris, please understand that dust, grime, pet hair, odors (and the ghosts of previous owners) may be present. RETURNS: If your item differs significantly from the item description, I will cheerfully offer a full refund, to include the cost of return shipping (upon the safe receipt of your item). To qualify for a refund, the buyer must agree to submit to a cancelled transaction request, sent through Ebay, so that I may recover my listing fees. Any other requests for a refund will be handled on a case-by case basis, and resolved at my discretion. Please be advised that I do not typically favor refund requests based on issues beyond my control, such as "buyer's remorse"... but I try to be a good guy in all of my trading activities and if there's a problem of any kind, I encourage you to contact me.
