Description: OVERVIEW: Here’s a striking vintage 916 silver necklace from the Soviet Union. This uses traditional filigree but the design is a contemporary take on the technique with its asymmetrical shape containing wavy lines and unexpected angles. It hangs on a classic link chain, which is accented with a small color change alexandrite (from a pale green to a pale purple). I do not know if this is a natural or lab stone. It lands in the spinel/topaz range on the Presidium so its not glass. A very cool and unusual vintage Soviet Russian necklace.
