Description: This silver plated butter warmer is marked Canadian Pacific with a mark indicating it is from 1948 (Shield with a B) and made by Mappin & Webb Ltd in Sheffield England. It has a beautiful sheen and has a nice weight to it at just over 13 ozs. Alhtough it was originally made for butter, It would be lovely as a vanity trinket dish, or as a serving piece. The pierced top would make it a great dish for potpourri! It is a very pretty piece!
