The tag does not state what it is made of, just spot clean only. I have taken a lint brush to the back side multiple times, and there are still white 'fibers' showing. I believe it is the inner stuffing that is showing or poking through the pillow material. No matter what I do, I can't get it all off. It is NOT hair in any way. Non-Smoking Home
