The soles of the boots are pristine, please see the last photo. The boots pull on but they do have a 7" plastic zipper on the inside of each boot, please see the 1st photo. The fringe running down the back of each boot is double sided, please see all the photos. The boots have no ribbing so they will slouch. They truly are like a long pair of Moccasin's.
