Description: Offered is this vintage pink-painted wooden doll trunk with a steel frame and hardware. Inside there is one large opening on one side and three interior drawers or compartments on the other side. It has been decorated with vintage travel decals from hotels and railroads. The latch was made by the Excelsior Co. in Stamford, Connecticut. I don't know how old the piece is for sure but I would guess it dates to the 1950s. The trunk is approx. 14" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/4". It is in good condition overall, with some wear. The leather top handle is missing, as is one of the leather pulls on the drawers. There are a few small surface dents, some wear to the paint and decals and there is no key. The buckles work fine but the main latch is stiff and does not close.
