Description: Awesome Limited Run Vintage1990 Peanuts Gang Poster from Scripps Howard United Media Press Department featuring MULTILINGUAL panels of Charles Schulz Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, Peppermint Patty, Sally, Schroeder, Marcie, Franklin and more of your favorite classic Peanuts characters! This Poster was found safely inside its' original mailing tube along with a press release from the E.W. Scripps Company offering this rare Peanuts Poster as a gift from the long time Schulz Peanuts syndicator. The poster measures a large Square 22" x 22" 20 different Peanuts Gang Letterpress Newspaper style Comic panels frame a large Charlie Brown and Snoopy illustration along with a terrific dedication to the legendary creator Charles Schulz! I was able to find 12 differentlanguages (countries) represented including: Filipino, Danish, Chinese, Norwegian, French, German, Catalan, Italian, Japaneseand Swedish, and I believe there are a couple I missed. Fantastic condition on this unused poster, never framed, hung or displayed. Found in the original mailing tube along with a Scripps Howard company press release letter. Long term storage in the 3" cardboard tube has created a curl to the poster and slight age to the heavy creamy white poster paper stock. Printed in black and red ink on heavyweight white paper stock. All is nice and clean! The Scripps Howard News Release reads:October 9, 1990 "We thought you might like to have a copy of this poster, which celebrates our 40 year association with the Peanuts gang and its creator, Charles Schulz. Throughour Scripps Howard and United Media operating subsidiaries, we syndicate thecomic strip and license the characters around the world. The panels making up the border of the poster are representative of the 26 languages in which the Peanuts strip now appears. As always, call if we can help."
