Description: Paper Mache Easter eggs originating in Germany were often used as containers for candy and treats to give to the children. The colors and artwork on this one are bright and happy and I love the 2 rabbits each playing an instrument in the garden. The inside is in excellent condition with Made in Germany and little animals decorating the paper. They go back decades but this one is probably more recent as Germany is still making these pretty paper Mache eggs today. This one is in great condition measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2".
