Frank Baum, Reilly & Lee, Chicago. Illustrated by John R. Neill, base on list on flaps. I know this was purchased in the 40s for my mother, but she doesn't remember which year. Again, this is a one-owner book. Note: First published in 1907, this is considered one of the better Oz books We have also listed The Lost Princess of Oz from the same era. List of Oz books on both flap ends with #34 Scalawagons of Oz (1941). Price (overprinted) on flap is $1.75 All interior illustrations are black and white (thus post-1935) Book endpapers have no illustrations. Same colour plate to both front and back of jacket.
