Description: Gorgeous Asian-inspired peony mugs by Otagiri, the iconic company launched in San Francisco in 1958 as an importer of high-quality Japanese housewares, closed in 1984. Very elegant pattern with ornate borders and abundant use of metallic gold. The mugs are 3 78" tall, 2.75" across at the brims, 10-ounce capacity when filled to the brims. Beautiful condition with no damage; they look brand new and still have the original OMC (Otagiri Mercantile Company) attached to the bottoms.
