Description: Vintage Original Ballerina Pastel Painting Signed LEO NOWAK Artist & Illustrator. Pre-owned good vintage condition with some damage from storage in one area observed and noted in photos, selling as found. Signed at lower right corner. This is a VERY cool find. NOWAK was the original illustrator for the Superman comic character before serving his country during wartime, and then moving to Inyokern, California (not far from where this was found!) This artist is listed and has works displayed in museums and private collections alike. This piece is a beautiful example of one of his favorite subjects...women! I love it! No shortage of wispy strokes and gentle colors in the softly lit room of the pink-adorned ballerina. GenX approved! Scroll for artist info! Packed and ready to ship to you ASAP! Please see the images for a complete visual description of the condition, as I try to document all flaws observed, if any. I try to ship FAST! Usually within 24 hours of payment. UPS Ground. Sold as is. All sales are final. Shipped & Packed securely using recycled and re-purposed materials whenever possible. Thanks for checking out my cool finds!
