Description: This is a wonderful old M.S.A. Marble's bowie knife. Overall, it measures 11 1/2", with a blade length of 6 3/4 ". This is a large bowie type that is 1 1/4" wide at its widest part. The blade is 3/16" thick. Blade has been used and sharpened...has some stains. Could be polished but I left this as found. This one is stamped M.S.A. CO. GLADSTONE, MICH., U.S.A. it has a 2" brass guard followed by a handle of Stacked Leather washers. It has black, red, and brass spacers. The pommel is wooden. Has a crack, as shown in the pictures. Comes with orignal old leather sheath with the Marble's insignia on the snap. it has a small tear at the top rivet. The keeper strap is stretched out, due to age....still functional.
