Description: Vtg British Army Late WWII Era Bergen Backpack / RucksackIn good used condition. This is a British Army Bergen backpack / rucksack from late WWII era w/ metal bracing on back. There are multiple stains throughout bag & bag is dirty on the inside & outside. The inside lining of bag & pockets is cracking & crumbling off in various places. The lining all over is crumbling & flaking off a bit from deterioration & has made the inside of bag feel crunchy. There are small to larger stains, small brown spots, & a small hole on bag. There are patched/stitched up spots on front in a few place, on the left side pocket, & on the back. The leather pieces have wear & fading/discoloration w/ cracks & creasing all over, & some have green discoloration. A couple of the leather straps have broken in half. There is rust on various parts of the metal hardware & bracing & some green discoloration. There's a rope tied to one of the front grommets. Possibly other small spots or issues that were missed.
