Description: Extremely rare color & shape. 1940s-50s Italian made, tortoiseshell marble with brass fitting. Lots of lovely veining in the marble. It has been finished in a glossy clear coat. Real marble: heavy thick, sturdy. Not alabaster. Measures just over 5" wide. It's 3.5" deep and just over 2.25" high. Foil label reads "G.S.E. ottone garantito" It is in excellent used condition and shows minima to no signs of use. There are naturally occurring variations due to it being made from natural marble.
