Description: VINTAGE HANDPAINTED, LEATHER AND BEAD ADORNED, LONGHORN STEER SKULL 24" horn tip to horn tip. Signed (Initials). This is a real, vintage handpainted cow skull adorned with leather, beads and a feather. It depicts a Native American Indian in full buffalo hide headdress. I would date it to the 1960's or 1970's but that is my best guess. This would hang or sit nicely on a table. As with most cattle skulls, I do not believe this animal was killed specifically for it's horns.
