Description: This guy stands ~ 4 1/2 inches tall and measures ~ 3 inches across the midsection. He is unsigned and I have searched over the years for a similar one on-line. He is made of red clay, appears to have been turned/thrown on a potter's wheel, has an overall matte yellow glaze and blue glossy glaze on the eyes. He resembles those made by Susan Davis in Cape Cod, MA in color. The only other information I can share is that I purchased him several years ago at auction in a lot of other special owls e.g., Ruth and Stan Walters, Sylvia Hood, Abraham Palatnik, Gabriel Keramik and more. Posting for sale but I'd love to hear if you know the maker.
