The brooch is rendered in gold tone metal in a circular design that consists of a round medallion linked to a gold tone frame or hoop. The surface of the medallion has an etched design; the back is textured gold tone metal. The frame and the six links that attach the medallion to it add visual interest. Please see photos for the specifics of the design. The brooch measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The pin stem of the brooch has become somewhat bent over the years; with that caveat, the brooch is in excellent vintage condition.
