Description: This is a vintage Clinton Pilot/Military Style wristwatch with Swiss Venus 170 Chronograph movement. It has a silver tone bezel and case, red leather band, and beautiful original champagne-colored analog dial. The dial includes the Telemeter, MPH and Chronograph scales on the dial. The diameter is 36mm and 37.4mm including the crown. It is 42mm Lug to Lug. This luxurious timepiece features a Swiss made manual wind mechanical Venus 170 chronograph movement, which was produced between 1942 -1960. I would estimate the style of this watch would place its production between 1944-1949. The watch has been serviced and properly lubricated with Swiss Moebius oils. The chronograph functions properly and the watch is keeping time to a standard of this manufacturing timeframe. A vintage watch of this time period can gain/lose a few minutes per day. Case has been gently polished to maintain original lines to improve appearance, but not to lose originality. The crown was polished and replated. As expected, this is a preowned vintage watch, so minor scratches and marks are visible. This is a great addition to any collection and perfect for any occasion.
