From the 1920s until 1951, any Chanel perfume labeled with "No." (for number) featured a small "o" with a dot underneath it. After 1951, the dot was removed, as seen on this bottle. Additionally, the label reads "Chanel Inc., New York Distributor," which was used from 1938 to the 1960's. Chanel Inc., based in New York, handled the mixing, bottling, labeling, and distribution of perfumes in the U.S., using perfume essences imported from France. please view photos for condition of the bottle and box.
