Otherwise in Good vintage condition. 18” Vinyl and cloth baby doll made by Earle Pullan of Canada Dolls. The adorable newborn doll is dressed in leather dress, headband, and booties. Tucked inside a Backpack Papoose. The backpack is wood board Hand-painted fire scene, with tanned leather covering and a soft leather pouch. Has straps for wear as backpack. Hand-painted head rail top. Has original tag Made By CANADIAN INDIANS Secured through Indian affairs, Department Citizenship and Immigration Ottawa Canada. In English and French. HANDMADE Craft, made for Souvenir Export purposes. DONE so very well! This is really a nice piece, it does have some age. I believe it could be restored with a proper leather cleaning. Not sure of the exact date, however Pullan dolls was in business in Canada 1945-1967. So I am guess late 50’s- early 60’s. Please see all pictures, and read full description.
