Salt glaze ceramic Oil Lamp with floral decal transfer designs This is a beautiful oil burning hurricane lamp, it is a salt glaze ceramic speckled look with crazing throughout the base, not noticeable at first. This is a nice lamp to add to your lamp collection or to use for those special moments. The research shows that "P&A" burner was made by The Risdon Manufacturing Company of Danbury, Connecticut in the decade between the late 1950's into the 1960s and possibly beyond. The ceramic pedestal measures about 8 3/4", 10 1/2" high to the top of the burner assemblies. It measures 7 1/4" at the lamp base across, 6 1/4" wide and deep overall. The burner is marked Eagle and the thumb wheel of brass fitting is marked P.&A. Risdon Mfg. Co. Danbury, CT. Made in U.S.A. Total Height: 10 1/2 inches Weight 2 lb 11 oz
