Description: Good, pre-owned condition. This design is from a vintage Avon crewel kit called The Bee Garden, which was released back in the 1970s. The person who stitched this did a good job, but the front panel isn't as complete as the design pictured on the cover sheet of the kit. In the kit, the beehive is completely filled in with vertical stitches and there are either small stitches or French knots on all of the strawberries at the bottom. Light wear on the linen fabric and a small portion of the side near the corner needs to be stitched back up. Measures 16" x 16". I would classify this as a 'fixer upper' pillow. You can choose to simply stitch up the open edge, or an experienced stitcher could take the pillow apart, fill in the blank spaces and then sew it back together again and add some beautiful piping or fabric trim, Smoke free home.
