The skirt is has yards of fabric with tucks throughout to create a draped look reminiscent of the later Victorian era. It fastens in back with a zipper and has a tulle petticoat to give it some fullness. The wrap is optional, but provides a great finish to the look. The skirt has some spots in one area that look cleanable. This set is made from taffeta, which is a synthetic, so it doesn't absorb dirt / grease / liquids like natural fibers, making it easier to clean, however taffeta does need to be professionally cleaned.
