Description: For sale is an original vintage 35mm glass-enclosed slide photo taken from an American soldier during the Korean War in 1953. This was acquired from the estate of that soldier. Title: Buddhist TempleLocation: Puyo, KoreaDate: 1953Picture Clarity: Very slightly out of focus. Color has faded a bit.Slide Condition: Some of the black tape around the edges is peeling off or missing. Glass is intact with no damage. Film inside is undamaged. The film is enclosed in a thick paper sleeve like a normal slide, but then enclosed in between two glass panes which are held together by black tape around the edges (normal glass slide procedure, I just want to give a thorough description). Some of the black tape is starting to crack from age and peel off. On the inner paper sleeve is a handwritten title, location and date by the original owner. These delicate slides will be packed very carefully in a layer of lint-free tissue paper, then bubble wrap, then packaged in a small cardboard box with packing paper for shipping.
