Frame is worn, aged but still doing its job. I took picture out to see if I could make out artist’s name. BUT, to my great surprise printed on the back on the kitten print was ANOTHER famous print by this artist. I STILL COULDN’T read the name even though that picture is slightly brighter due to the protection of being inside the frame all these decades! So, I took more pictures, now of side 2. This is a true “twofer,” lucky buyer. I continued searching the internet and finally found the terriers in the laundry picture by Bertha Warren Boyd. Hmmmm… so on I searched. Found a little bit about her, puzzle solved. Warren was her maiden name, later she married and began use of Bertha Warren Boyd. Yes…now I can read her signature as Bertha Warren Boyd. Hope you enjoyed the saga. Frame is intact but has old “crud” on it, especially on the top. I used my fingernail and it came off easily when I gently scratched for 1/16th of an inch. I didn’t clean it because some buyers like things in “as found” condition. I cleaned cobwebs and surface dirt/dust but not the older history of its ife. Please examine photos prior to buying.
