Description: Hand embroidered with heavy embroidery and some cross stitching Table Top Cover Depicting Folkloric Ukrainian Patterns. I wish I knew more about this pattern -they all have meanings attached. Probably a heavy woven cotton fabric - natural cotton color with Red and Black and a bit of yellow embroidery. This was a gift when I visited my Ukrainian descendants of my grandfather (cousins) who were from a farm near Lviv in 1988 when they were under Soviet Rule. I kept this carefully in my linen drawer since and I have never used it. Colorful, bright pattern carefully stitched - this kind of work made by old Ukrainian Babuskas (Grannies) is probably not done as much as the Grannies pass on.
