Description: Unbelievably rare and very valuable vintage 1980s Pauline Leidel Spreen Handmade Christmas angel / tree topper which is quite large and towering at 15 inches with a dress width flare of 11 inches. She is absolutely spectacular with a magnificent face and we have displayed her a few times over the years. She has a gorgeous dark green velvet dress with pink floral embroidery chain detail on the top and a lace collar. She also holds a gold foil scroll and she has gold feather wings and shiny hair. Made in West Germany and very collectible. This phenomenal piece is part of our collection and she is flawless except for one thing… She is missing her right thumb however it is hidden under the foil scroll as shown. When you look at her straight on you cannot see it is missing but it is part of her character. We have the original box, and yes it has writing on it as shown, she is absolutely glorious. Please review all photos. This is Vintage from the 1980s. I will also say that her foils scroll looks like it has some minor oxidation as shown, otherwise fabulous.
