Description: Featured is a 1933 postcard (dated from the # at bottom right border) depicting Main Street, Rock Hill, South Carolina at Night ... The Andrew Jackson Hotel at right. The Beaux-Arts Style Hotel is considered a local "celebrity" in its own right, having been built in 1926 with citizen-donated funds to the tune of $250,000. Designed by Architect Charles Coker Wilson. PC is New Old Stock, essentially 'new", remaining in Mint Condition. A Rare PC. This pristine postcard is from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
