They came off a car I bought out of Switzerland in 2005. I have not tried to polish the chrome, but it will come up well once chrome polish has been used. There will be some marks and light imperfections as you would expect for a 65 year old item. These are ideal for an original unrestored car where you wish to keep a nice aged patina.
