Description: For sale is this vintage camp axe, kindling wood hatchet, weighing 3lbs. 0.5 ounces overall, with handle. Unbranded, the head measures 6-1/4" long, with a 3-15/16" wide edge, a 1-1/4" wide X 2-13/16" poll or end. It is in excellent overall condition with a excellent edge which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The poll shows use and wear, with some splaying, as pictured. The 16-1/4" wooden handle is sound and solid.
