Description: During my 30 years servicing elevators in San Francisco I got to see a lot of Otis installations from the early 1900s and this tag came to me from one of those jobs, but do not remember which one. It is indicative of the different tags/plaques that were used and the record was in the company files if not on the job tags. The tag is brass with a copper plated overlay and black background, measures 3/4" X 3 5/16" and has two mounting holes for screws.
