Description: Vintage Zuni Dishta Turquoise Sterling Silver Rare Native American Ring Size 6.5. This is a very beautiful and rare Dishta style sterling silver and turquoise ring. The Turquoise is set using an intricate flush turquoise inlay technique that the Dishta family is best known for. The center stone stands above and is surrounded by flush Inlay stones. It has five sterling silver raindrops at the top of the ring and five at the bottom. The ring is unsigned and likely crafted by a family member. It's not uncommon for older pieces of Native American jewelry to have no stampings or hallmarks. The ring is a size 6.5 and the double band measures 2.5mm wide. The center turquoise stone measures 10.5mm long by 3mm wide. The face of the ring measures 1-1/16" long by 7/16" wide. This eye-catching old Native American Dishta sterling silver ring with intricate flush turquoise inlay is in very nice condition, as shown in the photos. It has some minor surface wear from years of love and age-appropriate oxidation. It has not been professionally cleaned so as not to compromise the beauty of the natural patina.
