Description: The scoop was from an old farm house that hadn't been opened since the 1960's. Zeroll Scoops had color coded ends to indicate the quantity of the ice cream it could produce. This one is gold which would be a 2 ounce or 55gram scoop of ice cream. It is difficult to tell when these were made since they have been made since 1935 and are still produced. They are made of aluminum so they should not go in a dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent will oxidize and tarnish aluminum surfaces.
