Description: Vintage Vortex Model Engineering SOLING-M R/C Model Yacht Kit w/ Harris SBU Very hard to find. Vintage 1970s Vortex Model Engineering SOLING-M yacht kit. This is a 50/800 M-class RC yacht (50" hull, 800 sq.in. mainsail). This kit appears to be complete in original box. Someone went through the parts list and checked everything off in each packet. The few parts that were not checked off were found in separate packets. I also went through the list and verified that each packet listed is there. There are a number of update bulletins included, some of which include small parts. I believe it's all there, but I can't guarantee it. I do not believe this kit originally had the electronics included, but there is a Harris Sail Control Unit included, which is untested and included as pictured. The mainsail has a couple small brown streaks. Hull is 50" long x 12-1/2" wide and is not damaged. The original box is a little rough. See pictures for more details. (There is a tin can of Polyester Resin that I will keep back in fear of it leaking during shipping. If you want it to be included, I will empty it out and send it along).
