Description: This is a remarkable vintage Italian Murano Wedding Cake Venetian Art Glass beaded necklace dating back to the 1930's. The lovely necklace displays hand painted pink roses, with delicate blue flowers, and swirls of sparkly pink gold. They are interspersed with pink and white beads. The hand-crafted Murano beads have gilt filigree caps and are set on copper wire station links, instead of stringing on thread. The necklace measures approx. 17 " length, but the brass hook ende enables it to be worn shorter. The origin is Murano, Italy. This vintage necklace is in very good condition, with minimal wear and a fabulous patina, consistent with age. Largest bead is 16mm Small pink beads average 8mm
